Semester Reflection
Content Skill
The main focus of this semester was learning how to integrate using several strategies and learning when to use each strategy. The strategy I feel I got best at was learning how to use integration by parts.

Problem-Solving Skills - Generating ideas
Over this semester, I have gotten better at approaching new math concepts. In Calculus my junior year, I often shut down when I saw an unfamiliar concept or problem and waited for clear explanation before trying to solve it myself. This year, I have gained a lot more skills and confidence, which has made it easier for me to be independent. For example, when I learned about integration by parts, I was able to look at the problem and use the skills I had gained in Calculus 1 to help me analyze this new form of integration. There is still a lot of improvement that needs to be made, but I have noticed a definite shift in my approach to Calculus. In order to get even stronger at this skill, I think I need to keep learning challenging concepts and be intentional and persistent when trying to solve these problems. The more topics I encounter, the more opportunity I will have to gain more math skills and use them to help me solve new problems in the future.
